Janos’ musical interests began at an early age, taking lessons on many different instruments to further supplement the heavily arts-based educated he was receiving in school. When his rock band in high school got to the point where they needed some recordings done, Janos’ interests in sound recording began. After acquiring enough equipment to record the band’s demo, Janos began to develop his production skills. Spending hours writing and recording parts on many different instruments in many different styles just for fun. It wasn’t until his senior year in High School that he realized this was something he would continue to pursue as a career. He attended Emerson College, where he earned a BA in Audio Recording with a Minor in Music.

While in school, Janos began his own record label, AR Classic Records, and started developing artists by producing for them, recording their songs, and working with them to develop their sound, style and image. He also began working at a few studios around the Boston area, further developing his engineering skills and building trusting and lasting relationships with the clients he engineered for.

Janos has produced and engineered for many different artists from around the world in many different genres for the past 10 years. His work can be heard on countless albums, MTV and many radio stations around the world. He prides himself in his ability to creatively adapt to the client’s needs, no matter the style of music, and give the client something better than they could have imagined.
