If you are hosting your own concerts or holding an event is a room with out an in house system you rent a house system and hire a sound engineer to make sure you have a good monitor and front of house mix.

Sharon Levinson is a front of house sound engineer based out of Montreal, Quebec
Canada but works in the Boston area as well. She specializes in bands with crazy input lists and ambiguous genre classifications. She does not snore and tries to bathe regularly. She can lift amps and parallel-park vans with trailers, and sleeps very soundly on tour buses. She is an
American citizen with Canadian permanent residency, meaning she can legally work
throughout North America without a work permit. She has never had any problems
crossing international borders. Monitor gigs are also welcome and she can do double-duty
as a tour manager and/or driver.
